Rick Bartram is a film and television editor based in Los Angeles & Toronto. He has a deep passion for character-driven stories that expand cinematic language and present new paradigms.
He’s an alumnus of the prestigious Canadian Film Centre Editor’s Lab. He also holds a BFA in Film Production from the Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) as well as a BA in English Literature & History from the University of King’s College.
His work has screened at festivals across the globe including Raindance, Hot Docs, VIFF, Mill Valley Film Festival, and Reykjavik International Film Festival. His work has earned recognition and multiple awards over the years. He’s been nominated for three Canadian Cinema Editor’s Awards for best editing.
